BIS Innovation Hub

The BIS Innovation Hub has a threefold mandate: ♦ We identify critical technology trends affecting central banks in various locations in a structured and systematic way and develop detailed insights into these technologies that can be shared with the central banking community. ♦ We develop public goods in the technology sector that are designed to improve the functioning of the global financial system. ♦ We act as a point of contact for a network of central bank experts on innovation, with regular events to promote the exchange of views and knowledge. These efforts complement proven cooperation within committees organized by the BIS.
