In the Anglo-Saxon region in particular, it is becoming increasingly clear that transparency through open (government) data strengthens the public's trust in the state and promotes innovation and competition in the private sector. Corresponding knowledge is also maturing in Switzerland. In this country, the Opendata.ch association has addressed the issue. The team, board and members are doing pioneering work nationally and locally to implement our strategy.
