Program
We invite you to a concise and practical evening focused on the future of software development in the age of AI. The event combines a current expert talk with insights into the study program and is aimed at prospective students, current students, and professional developers. During the subsequent aperitif, you will have the opportunity to personally connect with program directors, learn more about the study program, its content, and career prospects, and expand your network with interested individuals and industry professionals.
The event centers around the talk «Learning How to Conduct AI» by Thomas Briner, Software Engineer and CTO at BMPI AG. He will demonstrate, with practical examples, how artificial intelligence is already being effectively used in software development today. The talk will address how the role of software engineers is changing and which competencies will be crucial in modern development processes in the future. The presentation offers concrete insights beyond hype and fears, and is aimed at anyone who wants to understand what software development will look like in 2026.
Before the talk, there will be an opportunity to get to know the new Dreispitz Campus during a short tour.
Following the talk, an aperitif will provide an opportunity for personal exchange. In a relaxed atmosphere, you will have the chance to speak with the program directors, ask individual questions about the new Software Engineering & Intelligent Technologies (SE&IT) study program, and learn more about the curriculum, daily student life, and career prospects after graduation.
We look forward to seeing you!
