At the heart of the new FHNW: BaselTech will move into the historic Thüringhaus in the future

The new headquarters of the FHNW School of Computer Science is currently being built on the Dreispitz site in Basel. Where construction noise, concrete and large machinery still dominate today, the future of the ICT sector will be shaped from 2026.
In the ultra-modern FHNW building, students, researchers and companies will work together on the technologies of tomorrow. State-of-the-art laboratories, open co-working spaces and flexible learning environments create the ideal basis for hands-on learning, interdisciplinary exchange and digital innovations. BaselTech is proud to be part of this vision.
Our home base and innovation hub are built in the historic Thüringhaus, which was built in 1918 and has been carefully preserved to this day. With over a hundred years of history, it has always been a place where the future is shaped — and now we are writing the next chapter here.
After extensive renovation, the Thüringhaus will become a lively meeting place for technology, business, research, politics and students. BaselTech creates a meeting place here, where a strong community is created and digital ideas become reality.
Stay excited — and join us in shaping the future of BaselTech in the heart of Basel's new ICT location!
