CELLEC BIOTEK AG was founded as a spin-off of a laboratory at Basel University Hospital, Switzerland, and is active in the areas of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. We are an international team of engineers, biotechnologists and clinicians. We develop and market bioreactors for 3D cell culture and tissue production. Our products enable the cultivation of 3D living tissues as advanced model systems for tissue development and drug testing used in life sciences and pharmaceutical research, and potentially as biological transplants for tissue and organ regeneration, used for clinical implementation in regenerative medicine.
